Rich, soothing, and protective, it is particularly good for dry and sensitive skin types. Though exceptional as an all-around moisturizer, many women tell us they use it as their night cream. After applying they drift off to sleep with the incredible scent of lavender and rose...

Ingredients: Rose hydrosol, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, shea butter, vitamin e tocopherol, lavender essential oil, rose fragrance, *gluconolactone, *sodium benzoate   (*Eco cert natural preservatives).

Favorite cream

I bought this cream in a tourist shop after realizing I had forgot my moisturizer at home on a trip. Immediately after my first use I knew this would be the only cream I would use on my face.

Smells nice, but includes "fragrance"

I usually adore every item from Island Thyme for their wonderful natural scents and high quality. I was disappointed to see "fragrance" as an ingredient in this lotion, as I try to avoid synthetic fragrance in my skin care to cut down on exposure to phthalates, and have come to expect only natural essential oils to power the amazing smelling products from this company.,

Our Process

Hand made in small batches on Orcas Island, using proprietary recipes we have developed ourselves.

Nature's best

We start with the highest quality flowers, herbs, and medicinals. Some, like calendula, lavender, and cucumber, come from the Island Thyme farm. Others, like St. John's Wort, are wildcrafted in Montana's Bitterroot Mountains. Others are sourced from around the world.

Time-tested recipes

All of our recipes have been developed in-house over the past 25+ years. Starting from skin-nourishing base ingredients like sweet almond oil and beeswax, we fine-tune the scent and texture.

No industrial manufacturing here! In our commercial kitchen in the village of Eastsound on Orcas Island, our crew meticulously crafts each product in small batches for freshness and quality control.

After labeling, products are ready for you, our amazingly loyal customers. Our shipping team boxes up online orders, stocks our two storefronts in Eastsound and Friday Harbor, and prepares shipments to our wholesale outlets, which include natural food stores and gift shops throughout the Pacific Northwest
