Earthy and exotic!  This one celebrates all the earthy folks who make our islands such a fun place to live and create.  All of us can benefit form getting in touch with our inner Hippie.  (Well, our teenagers might argue against that.  But we think so!)

Rich lathering and gentle from the saponified oils of olive, coconut, castor and palm, and scented with lemongrass, ginger and a dash of patchouli essential oils.  

Ingredients: Saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm (sustainably harvested), and castor. Patchouli, Lemongrass and Ginger essential oils. Ground rolled oats.

Consistently High Quality!

I've used Island Thyme products for years. I love them for the lovely, natural scents. Items like the Deep Heat balm work well. The company is so successful they have gone to on-line ordering which is great for business. I hoped for a real person being on-island. In the end I saw a familiar face so all is good.

A piece of peace

Love the spin on the patchouli. Combining it with ginger and lemongrass makes the aroma of this soap refreshing as well as earthy; good complements to one another. And lemongrass, which can be a little too much for me personally if overdone, is just the right amount. This is hippie-like, 60's like, and also takes me back to the early 90's to in its ode to patchouli. Peace!

scent for this soap

I did not think that soap had as potent a smell as the other soaps I purchased, That said, the quality of the soap is fantastic: hydrating, etc.

Smells wonderful

I put a bar of this next to my bedside table and while I am sleeping, I get wafts of wonderful smells in my dreams.. It is good for hand washing too when the smell starts to fade..

Island Hippie soap...Yaaay!!

I love it! I usually get the Jasmine but it happened to bed out so I tried Hippie. I love the way it prayers up and loves the way it makes my bathroom smell just by setting there. I will order it again...OR calendula OR Jasmine OR maybe I will try a new one! Keep up the awesome work. :)

Love Them

I'm definitely a fan of the soaps and love all of the ones that I've used, but my favorite is the Island Hippy Soap. It;'s just all that and then some! I also love the Tingle Mint lip balm. I've used natural lip balms for years and when I came across their line while visiting Orcas Island, they are now my favorite. They're long lasting and just what I like in a natural lip balm.

I bought this soap for my husband when I visited Orcas Island and loved it so much that I ordered some more for home. We start with the highest quality flowers, herbs, and medicinals. Some, like calendula, lavender, and cucumber, come from the Island Thyme farm. Others, like St. John's Wort, are wildcrafted in Montana's Bitterroot Mountains. Others are sourced from around the world.

All of our recipes have been developed in-house over the past 25+ years. Starting from skin-nourishing base ingredients like sweet almond oil and beeswax, we fine-tune the scent and texture.
