Description

Your favorite soap, now available in bulk variety packs! 

Offered in the spirit of reducing waste, these bars will be varied in size and shape and will likely have cosmetic imperfections, but we promise you'll love using them just as much as our other bars of soap. These soaps may range in size from extra-large bars to small travel-sized slices, but we will do our best to ensure that each order receives a range of sizes and scents.

A great way to find your next favorite scent!

Ingredients: Saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm (sustainably harvested), and castor, pure essential oils and/or natural fragrances, may contain micas, herbs, spices, or exfoliants, depending on the variety.  Lather up and enjoy!

Wonderful Bar Soaps

I've been ordering Island Thyme's 'bulk soap surprise stack' for over a year now. You can't go wrong with any of these all-natural and fragrant bar soaps, and this is the best way to use and/or try a great selection and variety. Every time a friend asks where to buy bar soaps, I always send them here!

More than soap

This soap is wonderful to use as intended, ie. to wash your hands and body. But I love just having the pile around to look at the gorgeous colors and to smell the blend of scents. The bulk soap arranged in a ceramic bowl is artful sculpture that fulfills the senses!!

Our Process

Hand made in small batches on Orcas Island, using proprietary recipes we have developed ourselves.

Nature's best

We start with the highest quality flowers, herbs, and medicinals. Some, like calendula, lavender, and cucumber, come from the Island Thyme farm. Others, like St. John's Wort, are wildcrafted in Montana's Bitterroot Mountains. Others are sourced from around the world.

Time-tested recipes

All of our recipes have been developed in-house over the past 25+ years. Starting from skin-nourishing base ingredients like sweet almond oil and beeswax, we fine-tune the scent and texture.

No industrial manufacturing here! In our commercial kitchen in the village of Eastsound on Orcas Island, our crew meticulously crafts each product in small batches for freshness and quality control.

After labeling, products are ready for you, our amazingly loyal customers. Our shipping team boxes up online orders, stocks our two storefronts in Eastsound and Friday Harbor, and prepares shipments to our wholesale outlets, which include natural food stores and gift shops throughout the Pacific Northwest
